Privacy policy

Last updated: [DATE]

This policy explains what personal data Liwel collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. Text in square brackets must be completed before the site goes live.

Who we are

[COMPANY LEGAL NAME], registration number [NUMBER], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Liwel", "we"). We are the controller of your personal data. Contact: [PRIVACY EMAIL].

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your first name (optional), your email address, your country and your consent to be emailed.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

We use your waitlist details only to email you when Liwel launches and to understand which countries to launch in first. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who processes it for us

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) stores the waitlist and sends the launch email. Vercel Inc. hosts the website. Both act as processors under data processing agreements. Where data is transferred outside the EU, this happens under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. [CONFIRM PROVIDERS AND TRANSFER MECHANISMS]

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until Liwel launches and for up to [X] months after, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to [PRIVACY EMAIL]. You also have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict its processing.

You can complain to your local data protection authority. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

Health data

This website does not collect health data. When the full service launches, blood results and questionnaire answers will be covered by a separate, more detailed privacy notice before you share them.
